Excellent written and oral communication skills are vital along with MS Office proficiency - especially Excel. Strong organization skills, the ability to work independently, the ability to meet deadlines and provide quality/accurate work are needed. Experience as a benefits administrator needed preferably from the provider side of the industry. Those coming from an HR perspective may be considered. |

Financial Consultant - Direct Hire

This Consultant is a polished investment professional responsible for conducting 401K group meetings, individual meetings, trustee meetings and seminars. You will work closely with other team members to identify new business opportunities, develop relationships, gather assets and provide consulting services to corporate retirement plans and and individual investors with investable assests generally up to $5 million.
You will schedule and conduct enrollment meetings for 401K and profit sharing plans for new, takeover and existing accounts. You will respond to and research participant questions as well as sell rollover options to participants upon hire/termination/retirement.
You will also be responsible for selling new business and building relationships. |
| Requirements |
Candidates must be able to work independently, have strong PC skills including MS Office and Internet. A 4 year degree or equivalent experience is a must. Experience with investment management and research software needed. Proven experience in instituational sales for the qualified retirement planning market is preferred. Series 6 or 7/63 and 65 needed. |

This is a professional and fast paced office. Little formal training will be provided so experience is vital. Some out of state travel will be required but this will comprise less than 25% of your time. This is a direct hire opportunity offering base salary plus an incentive plan and benefits. Responsibilities include: supporting Senior Financial Research Consultant. Assist with financial planning, analysis and reporting of retirement products. Compile data in both databases and spreadsheets. Analyze data and identify trends and areas where business is not perfoming as expected. |

Qualified individuals will be self motivated, have good written/oral communication skills, and good multi-tasking abilities.
BA or BS with a major in accounting, finance, mathematics or other related field required.
Minimum 3 years related experience.

Assist in preparing quarterly investment reviews for retirement plan clients. Work with producers to prepare portfolio design and monitoring for clients. |

Candidates must be able to work independently. A high degree of discretion and strong decision making skills are needed. Knowledge of the investment industry needed. Series, 7, 63 and 65/66 needed (if not currently held, must become licensed within 4 months of hire). Must have PC skills particularly MS Excel. Must also have experience with financial software (Morningstar, Bloomberg, PEP). |
